This photo right here just got nominated to be part of Lens Culture's Street Photography Awards 2018!

Story behind this photo.

Last January 27, 2018, my roommate and I decided to go to Sunset Cliffs to go hiking. First off, this was days after I found out that one of my favorite local artists, a friend, Tay Watts went missing. He was fond of sunsets just like me and he would, whenever he could take a beautiful photo of the sunset. I originally posted this photo on Instagram to pay tribute to Tay Watts as this was one of is favorite spots in San Diego. I took this photo without having the intention to be part of some photography contest but indeed great things come unexpectedly. Thank you Tay for being such an inspiration to everyone. Your beautiful music lives on. And now and forever, you are loved, you are greatly loved. RIP Tay Watts.
